Artitude

In 2023, with Dr Peter Doran of Queen’s University Belfast, I co-led the evaluation of Artitude, a UK National Lottery-funded arts and climate action programme in the Derry and Strabane border region. Partners included The Playhouse Derry, Zero Waste North West, the Northern Ireland Resources Network, Collaboration for Change and Derry City and Strabane District Council.

I designed and carried out the qualitative research, interviewing artists, participants and programme coordinators in person and online, then transcribing and analysing the interviews. Together we wrote the final report, with findings, recommendations and a framework for measuring the programme’s carbon impact. The report supported a successful application for a second round of National Lottery funding.
