The Specialist, is the name of a character that was at the centre of a series of performances and photographic works created between 2003 and 2005. The photograph above is one of a series staged in various wastelands and post-industrial sites. The character wears a suit and his head is encased in a reflective chrome mask. As such, the Specialist is oblivious to his surrounding. The photograph above was taken on a medium format camera film, special thanks to my brother, Tom Flanagan.
