In 2008, I was one of four Irish artists, along with four Swedish and a Danish artist that were invited to take part in an arts residency, to make and present work in, around, or about the island of Öland, in Sweden, to explore the changing relationships between people and landscape. The residency was at the Yellow Box Art & Music Centre, in Sattra, Öland from the 18th -29th of February. The works were also exhibited a month later at the Cork Artists Collective “Guesthouse” , in Cork, Ireland. The residency was organised as a collaboration between SKART an Irish artist-led collaboration and the Yellow Box Art & Music Centre. It was supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
